Dr. David Barnes is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, 1978. Dr. Barnes came to Pella straight out of school and opened his door on Franklin St. Since then, the practice has grown and been remodeled several time, currently at our new facility on West Washington St. Dr. Dave practices family dentistry, and particularly enjoys esthetic transformations and CERECs. He is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Barnes lives in Pella with his wife, Mary. They have two daughters, Kelsey and Rachel, both optometrists. Dr. Dave is an instrument-rated pilot, and is frequently seen flying his yellow Piper Club at the airport. He plays in two handbell choirs in Pella, and enjoys the music very much. He enjoys camping, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, and racquetball. He has served on many boards and committees, including the Pella Community School Advisory Committee, the Christian Opportunity Center Board, and Secord Reformed Church Consistory.
